Akeelah and the Bee: Our Greatest Fear

The poem Dr. Larabee has Akeelah read states:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."

Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not?  
What are some of the things people fear about either success or failure?

In Akeelah and the Bee, Dr. Larabee tells Akeelah that the box of toys belong to his niece, when they really belonged to his daughter who died.
